It's time for a FO..
I finished my Shalom Cardigan today. All I need now is buttons and I plan to go tomorrow to get them.
And the best part I decided to use the spit splice each time I had to add in more yarn so there is no ends to weave in except the first one and the end!!! Now that makes me very happy.

I went to the Dr today and I am 1cm dilated so not much progress. I have to go back on Monday to have another ultrasound and make sure she is ready to come out, check her size, and check the fluid levels.

Shalom Cardigan
So I mentioned yesterday that I wanted to start knitting the Shalom Cardigan. Well I decided that I was going to start on it even though I had a lot of stuff that I should be finishing.
This is where I am at now.

Right at the half way point.
Of coarse Princess is very intrested in it too.

I am using the bulky wool from handpaintedyarn.com I love the yarn and the color but there are things that I hate about this yarn. I have used it a few times now and I cannot stand the way they package it. Each one comes wrapped in plastic that protects the yarn but is a real pain to get off I have even cut the yarn trying to get it off before. Then there has been at least 1 skien in each batch I have bought that is just a mess not wound up right and is nearly impossible to ball up. I found one just like this yesterday so I set it to the side for the time being. And lastly even though you get the same color and the same dye lot the color is not the same from one to the next for the most part. I have noticed when I get 6 there are usually 2 that are lighter.
Some will notice I am using my knitpicks Options needles. I did finally get my new set of cables after they broke twice. I didn't try them again right after I got them since I was pretty upset with them breaking so much. But so far I these are staying together so I hope it was indead a fluke that I got two sets that broke.

Its been a while.....
Ok I know it has been a while since I posted anything and for that I am sorry. But lots happened since I last posted.
I am still pregnant and due 1 week from today by the dr's caculations less than that by mine. I am starting to feel like this baby will never be born but I know that most people feel that way this late in the game. The nursery is completly done.

The shelves on the wall I bought and stained and bought the letters and painted them. I am so happy with the way it all turned out.
We got my recliner a little over a week ago and it is so comfortable. I am sure that I will be spending a lot of time in it.
There are more pics on my flickr account I think you have to be friends with me on there to see most of them though.
Here is my belly pic that I took last week. It was late being taken as usual but not much has changed really.
My belly is huge and now I think that it feels bigger than it really is.
So one of the reasons I have not posted in a while. I lost my job back the beginning of Dec. It sucks but I have come to grips with it. For now I am just enjoying being at home and having some time to myself before Anne Maire is here. And once she is here I am sure that I will love to have the time at home with her. I have to go back to work I am not really sure when exactly I am going to go back but I would love to find something that I can do from home so I can stay at home with her. If not my MIL will be taking care of her so it isn't that bad.
I have been pretty worn out and tied latley mostly doing nothing or only what I can do sitting down or only up for a few min at a time. I do still cook dinner every night but if there is a lot of cooking involved I pull a chair from the kitchen table to the stove to cook. I know that is sad right but at least I can get dinner done and not feel like I am going to fall over.
I did go to the wedding show they had in Nashville not to long ago I will say it was a lot of walking and not that much information that I didn't already have.
Also in December I had some maternity photos done. This one is my very favorite one. And she took it with my lensbaby.
They were taken byPhotos taken by Meghan Preisler at Meghan Preisler at www.megpreisler.zenfolio.com.
She took a whole bunch but I have only uploaded 4 of them to my flickr account.
I have been knitting some but not that much I made a burp cloth and a bib nothing to exciting though. Mostly I have been doing nothing no knitting or anything but I have an urge to make a sweater right now. I have a few on the needles right now but they are not the ones that I want to make. Back in Novemeber I think I ordered the yarn to make the Shalom Cardigan. So I think I may have to pull the yarn out and make it. Of coarse you know as well as I do if I get started on this I will go into labor before I have it at the point I can take it to the hospital with me. Hey maybe that is a good idea.
I did start to embroider again. I finished the one that I was working on (my very first one) and gave it to my mom it had Paris stuff on it. And honestly it wasn't that wonderful to say the least. But I recently made another one using a pattern from Sublime Stitching.
I am happy with it. And now I have some bibs that I can put something on.
O and my complaint- We switched over from Comcast cable to the Dish about 4 months ago and everything was great I had more channels that I wanted and a DVR or whatever you want to call it. Well.... the damn thing is broken and we have to wait until tomorrow to get another box sent to us. It broke early Sunday morning!!!! Now if I wasn't about to pop I would just go out and do something during the day to entertain myself but being this pregnant 1) Harry doesn't want me out by myself so I have to have someone with me when I go out and 2) I just don't have that much energy to stay out all day and things like the park or whatever are really just not an option with the weather and my body.

Almost Turkey Day....
Well it is almost Turkey Day here in the states and I am happy about that. I have always loved Thanksgiving because everyone gets together to eat and chat and there is no pressure of presents like there is on Christmas. We will be having dinner/lunch at my mom's house and the family/friends will gather there to eat. I still have to do a little cooking tonight though for tomorrow. I make sausage balls, Harry and Dad would be very upset if I didn't make them. So last night when the power went out and appeared to be going to stay out a while Harry and I made a trip to Sam's and to Kroger to get everything we needed to cook today. Well he will not be cooking unless I just cannot do it for some reason but he is there for moral support.
Speaking of cooking there are some days now that I am so worn out after work I can barley move but I know that 1)I need to cook dinner and 2) if I stop moving I will be asleep. So the other day I just couldn't stand there and cook any longer but if I left the food it would burn. We have these tall chairs in the kitchen that go with the kitchen table, I grabbed one of them and took it to the stove to finish cooking. Seemed like a great idea to me but Harry of coarse laughed at me when he got home and saw me sitting at the stove! I do believe that me and the chair will be cooking again tonight.
I have another belly picture, well really 2 but the other one is from last week and it was a week late in my picture taking so if you would like to see it head over to my flickr account and check it out. There are also some nursery pics on there too. We have everything in the room except the chair that we have not gotten yet but there is still some clean up that needs to be done.

Even my maternity shirt that I though were way long are starting to get pretty short. But we only have 10 weeks left if that much so I am going to just make due until then.
The other day at the dr's office we had another ultrasound and she is already measuring almost 2 weeks early, is already 4 lbs which she should have been around 2.5lbs and has already started to drop down which I can tell in my belly already. She was head down which could still change several times before she makes here appearance but it is a good sign that she was already in that position.
I am so tired today and board I am glad I only have 1 1/2 hours left but I believe that today I have already done everything that I have to do to keep myself entertained. I have checked blogs, checked out Craftster, and checked out Ravelry. And it is not like I am not doing my work, ever since they change my position here there isn't really that much to do on a daily basic but that is something that I am not going to get into or worry about until after the baby get here.
Knit Picks needles update in case anyone is wondering. I got my new cables worked on a few projects with them and they broke again the other day just like they did before. I have contacted Knitpicks and they said that I have another set of cables on there way. I really hope that these do not break because I like the needles themselves a lot. And I want some more cables in other sizes but I am afraid to order them until I know that they will stay together. I will post more on this after the cables get here and I have time to knit with them.

Wow it had been a long time...
I do have a pretty good excuse though. I was in and out of the hospital for almost 2 weeks and spent the rest of the time resting per Dr.'s orders. i got a really bad kidney infection, then kidney stones. Sounds like fun right? Well at least now the infection is gone and the stones have moved enought that they are no longer blocking my kidney so I don't have to have any surgery (they had already set up to have surgery last week but things changed.) I am so very happy about that.
In knitting news... well there is little to talk about I have finished the body on my February lady sweater and I did make a sock while I was sick from Noro sock yarn. I was feeling so bad I just couldn't focus on anything really.
Last week was my first week back to work and let's just say..... I am not going to talk about that.
Weekend before last I made a trip down to Bell Buckle for the Webb School craft fair and I was not impressed at all. Most of the things they have there now are not handmade or crafty at all, it is more like a flea market. Although there were several craft booths that I enjoyed looking at.
This past weekend was the Fiber Festival in Murfreesboro. It is tiny but always fun to go to. Jessica and I went along with my parents (for some reason they like this show) we got a couple of things and had a good time which was the most important part.
I have pictures but I have not taken them off my camera yet when I do I will post some.
I do have my belly pic from 2 weeks ago. I will take another one tonight for 26 weeks.
